Research Activities

Up to now, my main research interests covered subjects in Numerical and Applied Linear Algebra, especially in spectral theory of matrices, diagonal dominance, M- and H-matrices and iterative methods for solving systems of linear equations.

I became also interested in theory of dynamical systems and its applications, such as optimization of Wi-Fi sensor networks, stability and synchronization of networks of oscillators, modelling of biological and artificial neural networks, cycling of organic matter in ecosystems and turbulent behavior in atmospheric models. 

Currently, I conduct research that concerns pseudospectral properties of matrices and matrix polynomials, as a part of different nearness problems that arouse from industrial and engineering applications.
